Corbett Tiger Reserve
India’s First & Most Iconic Wildlife Sanctuary
Overview

Located in the foothills of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, this historic reserve was established long before most Indian parks and remains a top choice for wildlife lovers from around the world.
About Corbett Tiger Reserve
Founded in 1936 as Hailey National Park and later designated as India’s first Project Tiger reserve, Corbett spans diverse habitats including riverine belts, tall grasslands, sal forests, and rugged hills. The varied terrain supports a remarkable range of wildlife, making it one of the most dynamic safari destinations in the country.
