Panna Tiger Reserve

Explore the Wild Heart of Central India

Overview

Panna Tiger Reserve, set in the rugged landscapes of northern Madhya Pradesh, is one of India’s most fascinating wildlife destinations. Known for its dramatic river gorges, diverse habitats, and rich biodiversity, Panna offers an unforgettable safari experience that appeals to nature lovers, photographers, and adventure travelers alike.

About Panna Tiger Reserve

Declared a tiger reserve in 1994, Panna has carved a remarkable comeback story in Indian wildlife conservation. After once losing its tiger population, the reserve has successfully reintroduced big cats, helping restore a thriving population within the park. Besides tigers, you can encounter leopards, sloth bears, deer, wild dogs, and more than 200 bird species amid the dry deciduous forests and scenic river valleys.

The Ken River winds through the reserve, carving gorges and waterfalls like Raneh Falls, adding stunning natural beauty to your safari experience.
